Fantasy Moguls[1] predicts a five-day of $58 million-$63 million for Pixar’s latest blockbuster, which would give the Chaplinesque little robot a 10-day domestic cume of about $140 million. Meanwhile Coming Soon[2] expects a 34% drop for Wall•E pointing to a 3-day $41.5 gross of million. The Disney/Pixar hit grossed an impressive $8.9M on Monday, 40+% better than DreamWorks’ Kung Fu Panda‘s $6.3M at that same stage, an impressive number which leads to believe that Wall•E could reach $250M by the end of its run in U.S. theaters. Meanwhile the critically acclaimed Panda has nothing to be ashamed of as it should easily top $190M by Sunday night on its way to pass $200M domestically, becoming DreamWorks Animation’s second biggest original film after Shrek.
