Beowulf #1 in DVD sales charts

Internet Movie Database[1] reports that the CGI epic Beowulf took top spot in this week’s DVD sales charts. The movie had an intake of $10.9 million in rentals, beating American Gangster, last week’s number one. Other animated films received a boost in sales as well, with last year’s Ratatouille, Shrek The Third, and The Simpsons Movie also in the top ten.
