$65M opening weekend in sight for Wall•E

The Pixar masterpiece exceeded expectations with an estimated $23.3M gross yesterday for what should be a $64[1]–67[2]M three-day weekend[3]. That would make it the third[4] biggest opening for a non-sequel animated film, behind Pixar’s own Finding Nemo and The Incredibles. Congratulations to everyone at Disney/Pixar!
