The winners for the 31st Annecy Animated Film Festival were announced last Saturday, June 16. The top prize, the Cristal for best feature, went to Christopher Nielsen’s Free Jimmy, as the audience award for best feature went to Samuel and Frederic Guillaume’s Max & Co. Mamoru Hosoda’s The Girl Who Leapt Through Time was provided a special distinction in the feature category. Meanwhile, television honors went to Shaun the Sheep, Charlie and Lola and The Wrong Trainers. The Hollywood Reporter has more info regarding the Annecy accolades.
