The Simpsons Movie opens

tsimpsonsmlogo.jpgFox’s The Simpsons Movie[1] opens today in 3,922 theatres according to Box Office Mojo[2]. The film is winning over the critics with a very fresh rating of 89% on the Rotten Tomatoes Tomatometer[3]. Time Magazine[4] says, “It was worth waiting for”, for while the Washington Post[5] says, “It’s really one of the best movies of the year”. But the Kansas City Star[6] disagrees saying the movie is “Too much ‘D’oh!’ and not enough ‘Woohoo!'”. Box Office Report[7] predicts a first place finish for the weekend with $52 million.
