USA Today[1] has posted a preview of a novel by Paul Halpern that takes a look at the science featured in the long-running television show, The Simpsons. The book, titled What’s Science Ever Done for Us? What The Simpsons Can Teach Us About Physics, Robots, Life, and the Universe, takes specific events that occurred in the show, such as Homer creating a tomato-tobacco hybrid plant, and evaluates how accurate the science is concerning the situation.
