The following are twelve photos taken yesterday at the new Pirate’s Lair on Tom Sawyer’s Island attraction at Disneyland Park in Anaheim highlighting the Jack Sparrow stage show, Dead Man’s Grotto, the Turner blacksmith shop, shipwrecks, bone cages, and more:

Dead Man’s Grotto is the best part of the island. It has many spooky, spectral effects that are hard to photograph although the chest containing Davy Jones’ heart cooperated for a photo. And, yes, it does beat.

As you pump the water out of the sunken ship it reveals a treasure chest . . . and a skeletal guard.
