Animated Views' appreciation for Filmation

Animated Views has added several reviews[1] covering Filmation product spanning the studio’s history, from their first commissioned program, 1966’s The New Adventures Of Superman[2] and another DC Comics classic, The New Adventures Of Batman[3] from 1977 when the studio was at its peak. The rise of other facilities and changing tastes in audiences and networks found Filmation in decline in the 1980s, when Filmation’s Ghostbusters[4] (concluded in Volume 2) aired in 1986, and they eventually closed soon after their final series, recalled in The Best Of Bravestarr[5] release. These reviews are timely reminders of what the often overlooked studio achieved.
