Disney new release Tuesday: Lady and the Tramp

Today marks the Region 1 release of Disney’s classic animated feature Lady and the Tramp as the next in the line of Disney’s prestigious Platinum Editions. This 2-disc set features a stunning digital restoration and tons of fun and informative extras, especially in giving story man Joe Grant well-deserved and due credit for the genesis of the movie. Ultimate Disney has posted an extensive review[1] of this must-own film, while Chuck Oberleitner’s latest article at o-meon[2] discusses the DVD, the recent screening of Lady and the Tramp at the El Capitan, as well as some other key animated DVD releases from the recent past.
