The British Academy of Film and Television Arts presented their awards to the international film industry this Sunday evening. The BBC has the full list of winners[1] online. Taking home prizes for animation were Nick Park and company for the Best British Film, Wallace & Gromit: The Curse Of The Were-Rabbit, while Fallen Art took Short Animation Film. The Chronicles Of Narnia received kudos for its Hair And Make-up, Harry Potter And The Goblet Of Fire‘s Production Design was noted, and the foremost Achievement In Special Visual Effects was swiped by the giant monkey, King Kong. Often an indication of which awards will end up with whom at the Oscars, the big overall winner of the evening was Ang Lee’s Brokeback Mountain, with four gongs including Direction and Best Film.
