The Chicago Sun-Times reports that Rocumentary, a DreamWorks animated feature based on the 1964 Beatles flick A Hard Day’s Night has been put on hold because George Harrison refused his approval before his death. The film was about an obscure band featuring four penguins who live in a far-off place and are discovered because they have such a great sound. The producers had also considered changing the project to feature the Rolling Stones, but at the moment the film remains shelved, and the four penguin characters have surfaced instead in the studio’s new movie, Madagascar, as the recent press junket for that film confirmed.
