Celebrated raconteur and Oscar winning actor Sir Peter Ustinov has died at the age of 82. He won one of his two Academy Awards for his role in Stanley Kubrick’s Spartacus in 1960, but will forever be remembered by animation fans for providing one of the best – if not the best – vocal performances for a 1970s Disney film, that of Prince John in Robin Hood (1973). He also appeared memorably for Disney in the live-action comedies Blackbeard’s Ghost (1968) and One Of Our Dinosaurs Is Missing (1975).
