Shrek 2 is the #1 toon of All Time!

This past Saturday, Shrek 2 became the #1 animated film, digital or 2D, of all time, sinking poor Nemo off the top ten list[1] in the US. Shrek 2 may just work its magic all the way up to the number 5 or 6 spot, passing such movies as The Passion Of The Christ, Jurassic Park, The Lord Of The Rings: Return Of the King and Spider-Man, by the end of its run. It will be interesting to see how Shrek 2 plays around the world, as Finding Nemo brought in an additional half a billion dollars in sales on its international roll out. Can Shrek 2 hold the top spot long? Will it remain the biggest film of the year? Let’s not forget about Spider-Man 2 and Pixar’s The Incredibles!
