As sent in by many readers of Animated News (thanks!), Yahoo Movies has debuted the trailer for Robots, director Chris Wedge’s highly anticipated follow up to Ice Age, again produced at Blue Sky Studios for 20th Century Fox. The retro-sci-fi-comedy, with the voices of Ewan McGregor, Halle Berry, Robin Williams, Mel Brooks, Jim Broadbent, Greg Kinnear, Drew Carey, and Amanda Bynes, comes to theaters next March 11 2005. According to the IMDB, Robots is “set on a world populated entirely by robots, this is the story of a young genius, Rodney (McGregor), who wants to make robots capable of making the world a better place, but he finds his dream challenged by a corporate tyrant and a master inventor, Big Weld (Brooks), while also being seduced by a sexy corporate robot, Cappy (Berry)”…
