No humans in Pixar's Cars

John Lasseter’s next (and final for Disney), Cars has been confirmed not to have any human characters in its line up. Coming Soon[1] reports that voice cast member Owen Wilson has been speaking to About.com. The actor says: “It’s a world of cars. That’s the hook”. Wilson’s automobile character is “a race car that is kind of cocky and is going to learn his lesson”. The film is currently production and even Wilson has not seen any final animation yet: “Just stuff that they showed me when I went in. They take forever to do, so it’s been a couple years now and I think it’ll be a least two more”. Cars is due to drive into theaters late 2005.
