Along with the 2-disc Special Edition DVD, and helping somewhat to bulk up the profile of a so-so DTV feature, Walt Disney Records will also re-release The Lion King II: Simba’s Pride soundtrack on August 31, with new cover image tied in to the new video re-issue. Disney has also just released Aladdin: Karaoke Series, a collection of the film’s songs with and without lead vocals so we can all sing-along and feel like a Genie in the shower. The 16-track disc includes restored song Proud Of Your Boy in the track listings, revealing that the sequence will come after the Prince Ali number and before A Whole New World in the Special Edition re-cut of the film, debuting on DVD in October.
